CDPAP is a New York Medicaid program. Unlike traditional home care, CDPAP allows you to hire and train your own aides. Services include personal care, home health aide, or skilled nursing tasks.

  • DOH Announces CDPAP Award Winners

  • February 14th 2021
  • After months of delays, the New York State Department of Health has announced a list of Fiscal Intermediaries allowed to stay in business. However, this is only Round 1 of approvals as we anticipate Round 2 - approval by the NYS Comptroller.
  • EVV Program Details Announced

  • October 19th 2020
  • The New York State Department of Health (DOH) has released a document outlining EVV program guidelines and requirements. EVV is scheduled to be implemented January 1st, 2021.
  • Release Date of Approved Fiscal Intermediaries Listed as "Pending"

  • August 14th 2020
  • After weeks of extending the date to list approved Fiscal Intermediaries (FIs), the DOH changed the wording to "pending" with no specific date listed. Originally set for 7/1/20, the DOH has postponed the announcement date for weeks. Also, the DOH stated FI contracts will begin "upon approval of the Office of the State Comptroller". We are monitoring this situation closely.
  • PMPM in The State Registry

  • January 1st 2020
  • The NYS DOH introduced a change in how Fiscal Intermediaries will be funded. Learn more about PMPM and how this change would impact the entire CDPAP community in our PMPM Policy area.
